New York New York was the featured salon at the first annual bridal show at Brewers Alley on Sunday June 28. The show which highlighted a number of businesses across an array of industries was held on the second floor banquet rooms of Brewers and hosted by their affiliate Fountain Rock Group.

The event saw a good turnout for its first bridal show and New York New York was center stage offering free consultations and practice runs to the brides to be and their family. “It was neat…getting to meet all the different people and business,” commented Mary Lee, one of NYNY’s bridal experts.

New York New York has been at the forefront of the bridal industry for years and continues exceed all expectations when it comes a brides special day. The salon looks forward to returning next year and continuing its work with Brewers Alley in the future.

Two students from Frederick Community College spent Monday May 18th getting pampered as a graduation gift from New York New York. SGA Vice President, Lauren and SGA Secretary, Andrew were selected by the college to receive full color and cut makeovers as part of their Graduation on May 20th.

Andrew worked with senior cosmetologist, Sheri Crist for his cut and color while Laurens highlight and haircut were taken care of by stylist, Tonia Shankle. The services were completely donated by New York New York and their two stylists.

“It makes you feel good to know you are doing something to help out another person,” said Sheri Crist about the visit, “He (Andrew) was a wonderful young man and I was so happy to help improve his life.”

New York New York is continuing its outreach program to the community, working with countless organizations and companies donating its time and resources to worthy causes.
